Trekking Light
A light trekking promenade from the township of Archangelos to the Site of the Seven Springs.
Trekking duration: 1.5 hours approx.

Day 3:
Rhodes by Night
A different approach of the Medieval Quarter of the City of Rhodes,  a trip back in time and the various cultures, religions and monuments left behind, bearing witness to the long history of this island.In
cluded in the schedule: a visit to the Palace of the Grand Master

Day 1
Archangelos – Epta Piges (Site of the Seven Springs)
A light walk from the township of Archangelos to the Site of the Seven Springs. Duration of the promenade: 1.5 hours approx. Overall schedule duration: 4 hours approx.

Day 2
Cleobulus’ Tomb
A promenade to the site of the Mortuary Monument to Cleobulus, through a rocky environment, typical of this zone. On the way back – and after a brief respite for refreshments – participants have the opportunity of visiting the Christian Orthodox Church of Panaghia, in Lindos (Our-Lady-of-Lindos).
Overall duration: 3 hours.
Duration of the promenade: 1.5 hours approx.

Day 3
Fountoukli – Salakos
This schedule starts with a guided visit of the byzantine shrine of St. Nicolas, at the site of Fountoukli, in the mountainous area of Profitis Elias. From there, participants are taken on a promenade through the lush vegetation of this area and through to the village of Salakos. Once there, refreshments are definitely well deserved – and served! – on the village square, where you are bound to relax sipping coffee, enjoying a fresh fruit juice or a cooling refreshment. There is a possibility to replace refreshments with a light snack, upon previous arrangement (a proportionate adjustment of the cost should be expected).
Duration of the excursion: something between 5 and 6 hours.

Walking: 2 – 2.5 hours.

For those fond of walking in Nature and in quest for a better acquaintance with the flora and lush vegetation of the island of Rhodes.

Day 1
Fountoukli – Salakos – Prof. Elias (Mountainous site of Prophet Elijah)
Discover some of the island’s loveliest woodland while visiting the byzantine shrine to Saint Nicolas. Enjoy you coffee at the bar of Elafos and Elafina Resort, a hotel complex fashioned after the alpine Italian hostels and dating back to the times of the Italian Rule of the island.
Duration of the promenade: 3.5 hours approx.

Day 2
The Fort of Kritinia
Engage on this scenic path leading you from the settlement of Kritinia to the ruins of the homonymous Fort and be rewarded for the effort with a unique, bird’s eye view on the  islands of Chalki and Alimia, just off the Rhodian coast.
Duration of the promenade: 3 hours approx.

Day 3
Psinthos – Petaloudes (Valley of the Butterflies)
Setting out from the village square, participants will be engaging on a road leading to the forest path. The walk takes you on a delightful trajectory through the lavish woodland and through to the Greek Orthodox Monastery of Panaghia Kalopetra (Our-Lady-of-Kalopetra), boasting of some breathtaking views on the west coast of Rhodes. After a brief respite, the walk continues towards the discovery of the world-renowned beauty of the Valley of the Butterflies.
Duration of the promenade: 3 hours approx.

Visit to the Acropolis (Citadel) and the Christian Orthodox Church of Panaghia (Our-Lady-of-Lindos). This particular formula is available as part of a guided tour of other groups.
